Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (Stanislaus and San Joaquin County)
Behavior Technicians (BT’s) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) play a vital role in helping children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities develop essential life skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Working 1:1 with children ages 1-17 years old in Stanislaus and San Joaquin County, they provide structured, evidence-based interventions in home, school, and community settings. Under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Managers, they implement individualized treatment plans designed to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. Using positive reinforcement strategies, BT’s and RBT’s encourage appropriate behaviors while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
In addition to working directly with children, BT’s and RBT’s are responsible for collecting and recording data to track progress and ensure treatment effectiveness. They collaborate closely with families, Program Managers, and BCBA’s to create the best possible outcomes for each child. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
